The Facebook-owned company has said it will launch a new feature to protect users from hackers and malicious users. Those who install the new WhatsApp version will have to scan for fingerprint at that time.
If you want to set a fingerprint on WhatsApp, you need to tap on the media settings option and go to Account option. Then go to the Privacy and Fingerprint Lock option. After scanning the Turn on Fingerprint and Fingerprint there, the media will be able to lock and unlock with fingerprint.
The feature is now available as a screen lock on iOS. IPhone users can unlock using Touch ID or Face ID.
