Wong claims that Facebook will use the identity recognition technology as a facial recognition technology to ask users to hold selfies in various aspects. If a user submits pictures of the face in a circle, then Facebook will confirm that the account is a real account. This is basically known as video selfie. Facebook says no one will see this video selfie. After 3 days it will be deleted.
With the introduction of the new Facebook feature, many people's concerns about privacy will increase. Among these, there have been several criticisms against Facebook, including privacy violations, theft of information, and failure to prevent false news. If you start scanning people's faces in it, it will add more criticism.
