Learn How to get verified at Facebook
A verified Page of Facebook has a blue check mark next to its name. Select people, sports, media, entertainment and government Pages may be eligible for verification. We don't support verification requests for user profiles and Pages that represent businesses/brands.
First you have to select verification type
1. Page.
2. Profile.
Then you have to attach a photo of your ID
Facebook requires at least one of the following official documents in order to review your request.
If your account represents a person:
A government-issued photo ID that shows your name and date of birth (i.e. driver's license or passport).
If your account represents something other than a person, provide a document with an official seal/watermark of your organization:
- Your organization's phone or utility bill.
- A certificate of formation.
- Articles of incorporation.
- Tax or tax exemption documents belonging to your organization.
Additional Information
Please share the article why your account should be verified.
Some Pages and profiles have been verified by Facebook to let people know that they're authentic. If you see a blue badge on a Page or profile, it means that Facebook confirmed that this is the authentic Page or profile for this public figure, media company or brand.
Keep in mind that not all public figures, celebrities and brands on Facebook have blue badges. If you see a gray badge on a Page, it means that Facebook confirmed that this is an authentic Page for this business or organization.
Note that - It's not possible to purchase either type of verified badge.
