Buy / Book Train Ticket By Mobile Phone SMS Service System
Two mobile operator GP and Banglalink offer to buy / booking train ticket by mobile SMS system.
At first you have to register your sim by this way.
SMS to 1200 number the following message.
TKET and send it to 1200
If registration is successful, then a 4 digit pin number will be sent to your mobile phone by system. Then you have to Refill Balance/TK from GP or Banglalink Customer Care for buying ticket. Then follow the following steps.
1. Dial *131#
2. Select an Option (Book Train Ticket, Purchase Train Ticket after Booking, Purchase Train Ticket).
3. Enter your PIN number
4. Enter Journey Date (DD)
5. Select Start Station (Dhaka Kamalapur, Dhaka Airport, Chittagong)
6. Search Destination (Enter first 3 characters of destination station)
7. Select Destination (Chittagong, Chitosi Road)
8. Select Train (Mohanagar Provati, Turna Express, Mohanagor Godhuli, Subarna)
9. Select Ticket Class
10. Select Option
11. Then you will see 'The cost for the requested ticket (including service charge) is BDT 345.00' please select yes or No.
12. Then you will see 'Transaction successful, E-Ticket No. ........ Train Name, and Date and Transaction ID'
Then in that day , you will show the Transaction ID to the station ticket counter and they will provide you a ticket.
