2 million SIM free for women in Bangladesh
As part of women empowerment, the new package 'Aparajita' has been launched by state-running mobile phone operator 'Teletalk'.
State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim inaugurated the package in the conference room of the Postal and Telecommunications Department at the Secretariat. She announced a free distribution of 2 million 'Aparajita' package Teletalk sim among women across the country.
The State Minister also said women will take a step forward with the convenience of using voice and video calls and internet data at affordable prices. A SIM will play an important role in empowering women.
After activation of SIM, only one GB at eight taka and two GB data at 14 taka can be used in three months as happy as possible. The period will be seven days.
Teletalk to Teletalk voice call 60 paisa (minute), 90 paisa from Teletalk to other operators, Video call (Teletalk from Teletalk) 60 paisa per min in 24 hours.
