BAF has published "Airmen Recruitment Circular 2017" in the daily newspapers recently. The circular provides all related information about recruitment. The Airforce recruitment team goes to all divisions of Bangladesh and conducts recruitments.

General Requirement for Applying:


  • Age For Technical & Non-Technical Trade: Age within 16 to 21years
  •  
  • Age For Education Instructor & Cypher Assistant Trade: Age up to 28 years
  •  
  • Age For Music Trade: Age up to 24 years
  •  
  • Nationality: Bangladeshi citizen
  •  
  • Marital Status: Unmarried except for Education Instructor and Cypher Assistant trade.

76 - 81 cm (30"-32")
Eye
6/6 or According to the rules.

Educational Qualification for Applying: 

Technical Trade: Minimum GPA 2.50 in SSC (Science) or equivalent result.

 Non Technical Trade: Minimum GPA 2.50 in SSC or equivalent result.

 Music Trade: Minimum SSC or equivalent

Education Instructor & Cypher Assistant: Minimum 2nd Division in BSc/B Com/BA, Fazil (only for Religious Teacher) or equivalent.

Or
Minimum 2nd Division in Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering / Communication Engineering/IT or equivalent.


Some Conditions of Ineligibility:


Candidates of the following categories are ineligible for enrollment as airmen:


Dismissed from Army/Navy/Air Force.

Dismissed/removed/discharged from Government services on a disciplinary ground or forbidden from Government employment.

Convicted in a Court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude or awarded imprisonment for any civil offence.


Some Special Qualification for Applying:


Technical Trade: Candidates who passed from any technical institute will get preference.

Non-Technical Trade: Prominent players will get preference on submission of certificate
at least district level competition in the respective field.

Music Trade: Candidates having proficiency in any musical instrument is to be given preference too.

Cypher Assistant: Having knowledge on Computer. 


Necessary documents required with the Application Forms:


          
       All Certificates/provisional certificates, Testimonial and attested copies.
     A testimonial from respective head of the institutes.
     A nationality certificate from Counselor of City corporation / Municipal corporation/Chairman of        Union Council.
     A certificate from Govt approved technical institutes (if required).
     Total Six copies pass port size photograph duly attested Gazetted Officer.
     A Character Certificate from Class-I Gazetted Officer.
    All Attested copy National ID Card and other ID cards (If any).
    An Attested copy of the certificate for the dependent of Freedom Fighter from an appropriate      authority.
    Certificate for Anser & VDP candidates from an appropriate authority.
    For Tribal candidates attested certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner.
     Attested copies of certificate for performance in sports/games at National/Division/District level (if any).
