At
last, in the face of criticism, all Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) students will be able to take part in the 38th BCS lecturer post. On
Monday (July 10th, 2017), the Bangladesh Public Service Commission
(PSC) Chairman Professor Dr. Mohammad Sadiq said this information was confirmed
us.
On
June 20, the recruitment notice of the 38th BCS was published in the evening.
It mentions that ICT can only take part in three subjects in the government
college lecturer post. But in addition to these three subjects, the another ICT
students claims to include several other subjects. Students do not have the
opportunity to take exams because they are in peril. After the matter came to
PSC's notice, the officials of the company decided to allow ICT students to
take part in the exams.
According
to the previous notice, students from the Department of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students (July 10th) can apply only for
college lecturers. But the rest of the subjects related to ICT could not apply.
But after the new announcement, students of at least four subjects will be able
to apply in this BCS.
PSC
chairman, Dr. Mohammad Sadiq said, 'We do not want to deprive anyone. We did
not have any update information about this issues that we were talking about
earlier. As a result, they had not been added. But now they can now apply.
There are some rules to follow. We will publish the rules in a circular format.'
It
is to be noted that Electronic and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronic
and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), Computer and Communication Engineering
(CCE), among other subjects related to ICT.
